JIS G3461 specifies the carbon steel tubes used for heat exchange in boilers, heat exchangers, condensers, and similar equipment.
Download PDFJIS G3461 is a Japanese Industrial Standard that specifies the carbon steel tubes used for heat exchange in boilers, heat exchangers, condensers, and similar equipment. These tubes are designed to transfer heat both on the inside and outside of the tubes, such as water tubes, smoke tubes, superheater tubes, air preheater tubes, condenser tubes, catalyzer tubes, and more.
JIS G3461 was first issued in 1988 and was last updated in 2019. It is based on international standards ISO 9329-2 and ISO 9330-2 but with modifications to meet the technical requirements of Japan's industries.
This standard specifies the technical requirements for seamless and welded carbon steel tubes with properties suitable for high-temperature service. The tubes must be heat treated, either normalized or quenched and tempered, depending on their manufacturing process.
JIS G3461 is a Japanese Industrial Standard that sets the guidelines for the manufacture of carbon steel tubes used in various types of heat exchangers and boilers.
The JIS G3461 standard specifies carbon steel tubes that are primarily used in boilers, heat exchangers, and condenser applications. Known for their durability and heat transfer efficiency, JIS G3461 tubes are designed to withstand the rigorous demands of high-temperature environments.
